I have been recently hooked onto popping and am starting off with a medium/light setup. I have realised that poppers and stickbaits certainly do not come cheap and its quite a heartache to lose one.
Currently, I quite into stickbaits and am simply love the action of my saltiga surface slider (floating). Was wondering, is there any other stickbaits with comparable action which you would recommend? (below 100grams)
Has anyone tried swapping spools between a Revo Inshore and a SX? I've got a SX and was hoping to use it for some inshore boat fishing. The extra line cap from the Inshore's spool would really come in handy! Thanks for reading this.
I would like to find out about the use of roller guides for bottom fishing rods say of 30lb class or greater. Is there any significant advantage/s of using roller guides as opposed to those normal guides?
Also i noticed those online tackle store sell these in a set of 5, this means when i have roller guides my rod, it will bend less? (Say compare to the rod with normal guides) I don't think we meant to stick them 8 or 9 roller guides on a 6 foot blank, then... [Read More]
