Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Zipplex GB3, Zziplex M4 Hi all, Been reading about this rod but not much of details found, anyway anyone here uses any of these rods? Q : It is not a full tournament rod but is it ok for a full blown pendulum such as X-Cast Q : Will it collapsed if cast with a 150gr sinker (Pendulum) I'm also interested in Century Ccc LD but no local tackle here carry these rod, and if i read the m'sia forum correctly bro Asnaf have one and it's his main 125gr rod... (Wish i could own one) Fell in love at first site with the M4, its slim (22mm), light and transport friendly due to its equal length Really appreciate any input between the two cos i might want to add to my collection

I’m no expert on the X-cast but nevertheless tried a few rounds soon after I got mine. Based on personal view, I felt the rod is better suited for 150gm over the 125gm. The 125gm may not get the best out of this rod. I have yet to try on the 150gm since casting season is now slow. Zziplex M4 is parabolic action rod but still offer fast recoil. However the butt section feels slightly softer than the XTR 50-50 which may not be a liking to some of our local casters. Choosing the correct rod is always a headache unless you come down and have a few throws with what is available by our kakis. Hope you make your decision quick as I know of someone who is eyeing the last piece...hahahaha. Cheers! physlo |

My Mood: Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: Zipplex GB3, Zziplex M4 Is the Zziplex GB3 Lite available in Singapore (or Hong Kong)? The price quoted is very good and I really fancy getting one of these rods. It has been a long time since I have done any shore/beach fishing but I am slowly getting back into it. The last Zziplex I purchased was an NG2 which most of you will probably never heard of as it was 20 years ago! Great rods though - total quality. |
