Venue: The court is located in Kuantan Port Industries Area approx. 20km fron Kuantan Town. it a construction land with range of 270mtr. If you naik bukit it will be something around +280 mtrs. at back of the propose Oche we have good shade of trees. 2. Fee: RM100 for 3 cat i.e: 125g, 150g n matching fishing. 3. Start Time/Date: 2nd June 2007, 8.30am to 5pm for Distance Casting Match Fishing: 3rd June 2007, 9am to 4.30pm Regards physlo |

Rep Power: 4 | Re: Upcoming Malaysian Surfcasting Competition Fellow casters, Firstly I would like to begin saying thank you to both drivers ‘Samioon & Azlan’ for skillfully getting us to and fro safely in one piece even though the ride was a bumpy long one. Congrats to all winners and for those who don’t, practice harder for the next one...yeah! On a personal note, I’m disappointed with the results and would rather trade the medals for better results or a PB to the record. Headwind, crosswind, poor markings or for whatever reasons we came up with, the champ aka ‘Edi’ is still able to hit his usual distance. Why and how, many of us would like to know. Simple….he’s good. Even some of the new guys from Malaysia came quite close behind us. From what I was told, practice still goes on even after the last Pemm competition was over. We should take this competition as a learning experience and not be ‘complacent’ again. I’m very confident that the results would be much better if we had spent more time on the field instead. Let’s look forward and be better prepared for the next one. Till then, take care. By the way, i need a sample of the centre mag to get a few sets fabricate, please sms me if any one is willing to borrow theirs. Thanks. Regards physlo |

I have the Chris Macey conversions, but they are a clockwise wind off. This feels a little awkward for quite a while, so would recommend the anti-clockwise wind off instead. All the best, Ian | |
