Rep Power: 4 | Sani, I saw a 3pcs surf rod at Joe tackle. Not a problem to use for fishing but a little on the soft side for casting 125gm. Should not be a problem to whack 100gm. Go and check it out. Brand: Vfox Price: $145 for the 38 & $135 for the 35. Cheers! physlo |

Rep Power: 0 | Physlo , Is this ( Vfox ) the same one selling at Gina , the one which come with the sling rod bag brown colour ? If its that one , the rod is not bad for fishing as one of my friend is using it and so far no complain , of course lah with 3 or 31/2 sinker , but don't go beyond that , no guarantee will survive ....

Rep Power: 4 | Y, I think it should be the same rod. Your are right, brand is Vfox. The downside are the guides they used. And also the choker is much higher than the stripper guide. But can't complain much for that kind price. Wanted to get it but got myself a jigging rod instead.. Cheers! |

My comment was base from my friend lah bcos he's using it ....... but honestly , he said that for fishing purposes ( small game Bro , not big game ) , its good , easy also to carry here and there  , but again , used the right sinker , don't over lah , if not later got sound coming from the rod than that's where the headache start to come .......
