| Super Moderator | My first surf fishing session after a 8yr break Well I've been planning this for ages... to have the highest tide just before sunset and during the weekend is something that doesn't come often Well the day finally came yesterday afternoon. BUT instead of getting a 6hr fishing session, which should have started at 2pm, my buddies and I ended up waiting for fresh stock of worms to arrive at the tackle shop. I must say surf fishing wasn't as boring as I thought Tackle Used- Shimano Surf Leader FV 405 CX-T Daiwa Tournament ISO 4000P YGK Jigman X4 PE2 Sufix Tritanium 40lb shock leader (wind-on) Mustad Demon Circle Light 1/O Bait Used- Worms Tamban Prawn meat By the way, I still hate the stench of bait on my fingers.... after all this time :P Must remember to bring hand cleansers/pail for scooping sea water next time. |

| Junior Member | In fact, actually u can prepare a bottle of fresh water, a small container. & a piece of rag. After hooking on the bait, have a wash of the hand, dry it before casting out. It is for our safety too. Just my thoughts. Cheers. |
