lack of progression in tournament casting

it is quite apparent that the interest in tournament casting in s'pore seems to have dwindled down. this being the fact that less people seems to be casting. it s sad as standards will not improve.
the 200m mark will remain a distant benchmark for many years to come. there will be no progression and sharing of techniques. i hope that more people would pick up the sport or rekindled the love for the sport.

this would help the casting community here grow as a sport and perhaps conquer new heights in distances achieved. we need new blood to push the barrier further. screw the politics,let's do it for the love of the sport.

then maybe someday,we'll be able to have our own casting league and monthly casting tournament like our friends up north.

if you 're interested to make new casting friends, do come join me at tampines industrial ave 3, beside the new fire station for casting sessions on sunday afternoons(after 4pm). do bring along your tackle(surf rods and reels). i'm sure, we'll learn a thing or two from each other.
