Rep Power: 3  | How to have a 5500 CT reel It is hard to get. Unless the 5500 CT Elite is available again. Either you buy second hand or you convert. For the later, 1) You buy a 5500 CS Pro Rocket. 2) Remove the level wind and cut off the bar. 3) You find a CT bar and fit into it (where to get and hard to get). 4) You buy a Mag assembly (where to get and hard to get). 5) Is not complete yet. You may consider loading this fellow with ABEC5/7 bearings. Search no more, I got one for you. 5500 CS CT converted with dedicated CT conversion bar fitted. Knobby Mag assembly fitted and loaded with ABEC5 unshielded bearings. See pictures. Letting go at $250. It is already cost price. 5500CS Pro Rocket $140. CT bar $30 Knobby Mag $50 ABEC 5 bearings $30 |
