POD somehow re-launched QTCs, did a fair bit of cosmetic improvements and recently came out with some 6600W... Unfortunately only have pictures of the cages for show... I want to know how the 6600W QTC cage fair on the field... Review PLEASE! None of the QTCs are mine... 1. 6500 vs 6600W spool 2. 5500 vs 6600W QTC 3. 6500 vs 6600W QTC 4. 6600W Fit 5. 6500s & 6600Ws 6. 6600W

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: 6600W QTC Cage Just my opinion, original abu cage give me better grip (thinner wall) compared with other reinforced cage (thicker wall), and those two type of cage also was diffrent in weight...it's only a matter of accessories... i have one Abu BlackMax fully converted (reinforced cage = not from QTC,and centre mag system), well i think this 66W size are = have a bit lower feel than the other sizes, wider spool but as same as 55 spool diameter that will give you a maximum acceleration and speed as soon as you release your thumb. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | ![]() first distance achieved with mag unwinded off 195++m and the best till now 206++m. ![]() first tested with 0.35mm line + 150gm lead weight + Century TTR. ![]() side cover in terms of castabality, compared with 55 or 65 = no specific reel sizes will give me extra metres... it's how or which you prefered to use...well, i still think that 55 is suit for 100gm and 125gm (because less lead weight need more spool rotation) while 65 with 125gm,150gm and 66 will suit with 150gm and above. |
