Fellow Casters,

We will be having our 2nd mini tourney tentatively on the 26th Feb 2006 to be held at our Tampines Casting Ground. Same concept as the 1st session but with the new updated handicap. Handicap wil be base on the 190m mark and will be renewd base on the previous competition results.The main aim of the handicap approach is to lowering the gap among the establish, intermediate and hopefully the new upcoming casters and to make it as competitive as possible. In this way we can see the progress of all casters that compete. If you have any feedback on this pls do so in this thread. All views from the casters itself is important in order for all of us to improve collectively further. Stay tune for more update.

BTW, need advise from the rest of the MOD in FO. IS there a way to insert and Excel file table to the thread. Your advise is ver much appreciated. Tks.

Below are the results for the January Casting Challenge. Pls refer to the handicap for reference. The handicap will be used for the coming 26 February Casting Challenge. As we are expecting new entries, handicap will be decided and agreed by the rest of the casters present on the actual day. See U guys there and bring all your kakis along. All are welcome

Shock Leader : at least 50lbs mono
Casting Weight : 125g = 4.5oz
Reel : Spinning or Multiplier
No. Of Cast : 5 cast if possible
Casting Style : Any style you like

Below are the handicap guideline based on 190m cutoff mark

More than 200 meters -5 meters

If you come with the PPT Pendulum, they won't be smiling no more bro....saw what you achieve on your only cast with that rod. You got power dude.

He's a very contented man right now. Hope it is not his one and only cast this year. He he. If you know what I meant

He's an annual caster.

I think this week results will a have alot of surprises. Too bad you won't be around to provide that needed challenge to Barney of Singapore. May the distant be with us.

I'm sure you have some sort of back-up plan and I know you're capable of executing different kind of casting styles.

At the end of the day, only the distance is what matters. I will inform the 3 youngsters to join in.

No back up plan lah Bro. Have not been doing any other cast except that one for 1 month plus already. Hopefully (if it comes) one day it will materialise as I have always hope.

In any case juz hoping our Bro Y will be up to the mark this Sunday to stamp his authority there.

I am only happy for him. Been waiting for him for too long lah.

Good job for getting the younger casters to come this weekend. The more the merrier and let them have the feel of it and who knows they will be the big thing. Don't forget 1 grouper for me this weekend. He he

You're the man. Hope the weather is good this Sunday and we will have a good time and hpefully see some upset by the underdog. Don't forget to get Ga'ban to come along. He should like the atmosphere. BTW nice pic you have there. Looks like you a big fan of Danny Boy ha.

Hi Ozzy, I will most prob be there. Competition puts everyone on their toes and do their best. I think Azlan is working on Sunday and so will be unable to make it. It's always nice to see out-of-this-world pics and vids of Danny. The one when he broke the rod is madness!
