    Sport Casting Scene In Singapre - DSG

    Juz a brief update. The Sport Casting in Singapore has seen a steady increase in interest for season and newcomwers to this sport. Currently, the most active group known as Distance Sportcasting Group or DSG in short. Basically, group members are from hardcore surfishio category as young as teenagers and up to the 50's.

    These group are formed with one aim i.e to gather surffishio and sport casters alike for a weekly session of distance casting. Currently, having casting kakis of around 20 they have been casting regularly in the east Tampines area, Sembawang area and a newly found field near Jurong West area. Juz let us know through this thread or PM will do.

    We welcome anyone that is interested to learn or share the art of Sport Casting which definitely will benefit those who love surf fishing. Not too worry, there is no need or obligation to joint the group but we are happy to share and make new casting friends.

    For a start, attached below are photos taken recently during our weekly casting session. Look at how our Bro Physlo bent his Shimano fishing rod to the edge of breaking and crossing the 200s. He's been casting at 200m consistently. We hope that he will train harder to be the next champ.

    Nice pictures. I'm still working on the finishing. For now, i need to try out different rods and see if that will bring me to the next level. Wish i have the extra cash to get these rods and try out.

    Don't worry Bro, you can cast well now. Brush up your finishing technique and you will see your distant improving further. Trust me as long you train regularly and get the right advise you will be able to cast further than now.
