Need recommendation on telescopic surf rod

I had a Surf Leader FV sometime ago but sold it off due to lack of kaki Now I have a bunch of friends who are keen to fish from shore so it might be a good idea for me to get another tele-rod again Other than the FV, any other good tele-rods out there less than $200? (Love the Pro-Surf but the price tag is kinda scary )

I'm a surf casting also.

I still prefer 3 pcs, the telescopic has problem when changing ring. That is what I know. I have a 14 ft heavy action from Seahawk. Usually fish for stingray by the beach.

You can go for CX-425, some people has recommend to me.

Thanks bro. I bought another Surfleader sometime back and like it pretty much. Guess the tele stick is more for the smaller stuff I usually encounter off the beach. For serious stuff I'll just use my popping sticks. Otherwise my popping sticks would just be collecting dust on my rod rack

The Shimano Surfleaders are impressive...Good enough for our terrain... Ive seen it for myself..

Yeah the Surf Leader, even the cheaper range, is definitely good enough for normal fishing applications in our waters.

Hi I've upgraded to 3pc sometime ago They are more powerful for casting but the bite detection is pretty bad. ESPECIALLY for Daiwa "#35"

anyway casting rod of cos not good for fishing lah...better to get a "casting rod" and another for fishing lor.. for me cos low pay and low budget, i just keep one good budget fishing rod.

Tele rod is soft so is very easy to cast, but reach its max distance easily too. So caster wont like it mah, but for fishing wise its good enough unless using big bait lor..
