sorry juz a question. where is this lengendary east coast park 6 pipes at ? anyone willing to tell me how to get there ?
It was located next to the national sailing club. Park your car at east coast carpark H. It is free. If walking, from bedok jetty walk toward the direction of changi side about 15 minute.Originally Posted by GodOfDeath
Well, actually it's an easy place to locate. If you have a road directory, you should look for,
1. Bedok Road & from there you could see Sungei Bedok (Bedok River)
2. Trace it right to the sea, at the end of the river is where you'll find the 6 pipes.
3. Using ECP use exit 7A (from City) or 2B (from Airport), using East Coast Park Service Road you will meet the river. From exit 7A, you'll pass East Coast Food Court, proceed further you'll pass People's Association East Coast Campsite. about 100 metres will e the mentioned place. While from exit 2B, you need to travel about 200 metres.
To my opinion this is a reasonably good spot as it is my teenage fishing haunt. Even till today you could land a good one or experience a good fight. I even once caught a 8kg stingray in the canal (river). You could also try the first breakwater (number 25 if I'm correct). However, the only problem fishing there is those unreasonable people that lay nets around the area. Well fishing is more about luck than skills therefore 'GOOD LUCK'

After East coast PA Campsite...keep on driving or walking until u will see long pipes extending out to the water. thats it. Some people call it last longkang.Originally Posted by GodOfDeath
This has been a fishing spot since i was 16 yrs old. from prawns to catfish to kims, rays to groupers.
Some other spots to consider in East Coast.
1. In Front Of East Coast Macdonalds - Water Breaker. ( Fishes - Kekek, Pasir Pasir, Grouper, Stringray, Gelama )
2. Water Breaker infront of Tennis Court - ( Fishes Pasir Pasir Heaven, Kekek, Chermin )
3. Longkang or small jetty after Tennis Court - ( Catfish, Grouper, Stingray, Gelama, Tanda )
4. 150 meters right of East coast macdonals water breaker , nearby sampan - ( Pasir, Kekek, Gelama, stingray )
5. Infront of Big Splash. ( Pasir, Kekek )
6. 100 meters on the right after Big Splash Long Water Breaker. ( Various Fishes but plenty of rocks )
I have more spots, so PM me. Just remember my NICK Pereira
Hi,
The small jetty landing area near the S'pore Scout Assn Sarimburn off LCK Rd.
But already about 2 years never been there so do not know this place still accessable. The last visit there saw a police post built next to the landing area because of the 911 incident in US.
This place is good for relax as the view there is beautiful moreover it is facing one kelong which is about 100M away from shore.
Tight Line
hi guys,
where can i get info on the water breakers' numbering?
Thanks!
