How much is the horizon going for now in the shops? Heading back to surf thus looking for an outfit to do some fishing and to cast on the field with.

not sure bro... a few fellows selling their horizon sc on FK and seldom see at the shops these days from what a friend told me, the sc isn't as powerful as those uk styled rods when it comes to field casting! I'm no pro at it but statistics does show that the majority field casters goes for Zziplex/Century sticks.

The zippys and the TTRs are too costly man. Haha. Need a 3-pc rod as i take public transport. If not im looking at the INXS-long range or along that line. For multiplyer thou. Cant cast a spinner for nuts. Haha.

Wat rods/setup u been hitting the beach with? Where u fish nowadays, maybe can join u for some prata hunting.

I'm using Team Daiwa S Surf Classic, Shimano Surf Leader EVSF and a Daiwa Prime Caster paired to Shimano Baitrunner D, Spin Power & Pro Surf. I'm basically a surf fisherman. Not a distant caster

You're more than welcome to join me at Cafhi Jetty but don't expect big rays or remarkable catches cos it took me more than 2yrs to break the 5kg barrier! hahaha

Would u think the banana is suitable for low reel casting? Cafhi is near which part of changi? Ever tried the famed CP7?

Nope, if im getting the Banana, im rugging it for over heads. 55oo CT for casting n SL30 for fishing. Cafhi easy with public transport?

yup. there's a bus stop just before cafhi. I'm always fishing behind that bus stop. most if not all bus services that passes by the bus stop behind changi pro fishing will stop at that bus stop before cafhi. that's why I'm always fishing there
