Narc's Nenasi catch is incredible! Most people would be happy with GTs of that size on 7 day Maldives trips
His continued efforts fish Nenasi and cultivate a rapport with the Captain have paid off big time. It's probably the best Nenasi/Rompin/Pekan catch in several years and will be that way for a long time more.

Robert, sometimes we do get a whole icebox of Gulama. But of course, we dont go round telling people how great Gulama fishing was just because once or twice we get them la....neither do we call ourselves Gulama King.

Not quiet quiet la.... just any other malaysia trip but so happened got lucky then...
Just spoke to the boatman last night, he went back there and has since caught another 4 more GTs... but smaller ones, 10-15kgs.... 3 on poppers, 1 on jigs.... weird phenomenen ya?

Great catch NARC! Was there maybe 2-3 weeks after u. Saw the pic at the dining area. I think the boatman KX was addicted to popping liao(although we never catch anything)! Hahahahaha we were so engrossed and almost forgot abt the bottom. Not very good catch, some really nice coral trouts though.........hope to see u there again soon! Cheers!
