Singapore Thers is life @ Pasir Ris Pond

It seems the management at PRP finally woke up and did something about the poor state of the pond. Witnesses actually counted over 300 fishes being dumped into the pond straight from the delivery truck and there were lots of specimens over the 2kg mark. My buddy and I landed a total of 9 fishes on assorted lures yesterday. 5pcs around the 3kg mark and 4pcs around 1kg plus. Almost every lure worked! Crippled Herring, Spoons, Storm, Berkley Inshore Grubs + Decoy Jigheads, Tornado, Smith Sea Bat minnow all worked. We lost a couple due to pulled treble hooks & poor hook ups but I honestly felt the result could have been MUCH MUCH better if we bothered to buy some live prawns and suspend it under a float during our rest time. The weather yesterday was simply too hot to cast lures for a full 12 hours

The Sea-Bats are available @ AO. Or at least I bought mine from them lar... 10g each. Nice finishing, really sharp hooks. How come I forever cannot open Kodok's posts one ah Sibeh dulanz
