Not long back from a trip up to North West Australia, guiding at a remote fishing camp (see previous report down page)
Worked 15 days straight, then as there was a break between clients, Peter the owner bought his Family (wife and 3 kids) and I bought my family (wife and our 7yr old daughter) up to camp for a family holiday. The kids had a adventurous time, as they do. What made my trip was seeing my daughter catch some nice fish and had a great time living in the wilderness.
The first group of clients scored some nice fish, but the second group consisted of the Editor from a big Australian Fishing magazine (Fishing World) and another writer, plus the Australian G Loomis agents (Father and son) These guys were good fisherman and their catches reflected.
Jim Harnwell who is the Editor took some great photos so when I get a copy of the disk I will try to post some more photos.
We need a bike and a tender to access the bigger boats because of the huge tidal movements.
There were are a few Northern Blue Tuna around. Great Sashimi.
There were some nice Barra about, biggest 98cm (photo to come) couple of the smaller ones.
few good Queenfish. Photo of a big one to come.
