Mikey, imho, forget about using soft/pliable mono for tying apollo. Best to use the siffer stuff, like Dupont, Daiwa Shogun or Izorline leader if you can still can find them. Even FC is OK for apollo because they are stiffer than regular leader material. Stiffer mono for apollo rigs equals less tangles & better bait presentation too. Opinions differ of course.

    Yo Saimee,

Just letting you know that Red/Silver Blue fox Herring jigs in 250g size are sold out in Singapore and in JB, even the distributor has run out of them

Nothing a spray can of red, a spray can of silver and a spray can of clear laquer or clear epoxy can't fix

    Hi guys,

Mind you share your technic a little bit ? I would love to know, especially for blue fox herring, is it used with treble or assist hook or both ?
    Thanks in advance ....

Lod everything worked. Jigs rigged with a single treble or a single assist hook worked. 3-hook paternoster or long leader off a boom both worked for bottom fishing.

I did notice that a longer jerking action caught bigger fishes on the trip. Just a hunch though... will try it out myself next time
