SHARKED. I suppose he wanted it more than us.


We were fishing on a remote little beach up the coast and getting the last of the tide as it emptied a small creek, catching Trevally, Queenfish, Jacks both on lures and Fly when this large Groper came into less than a metre of water to see what the fuss was all about, then deciding to eat a small Queeny. The Boof as he took it was great..... only like a 150kg fish could make.

Locked up.. luckily I had the 10kg Groper stopper outfit. Yep I had no chance


He decided that he had had enough and just swam away
