1800 in RM or SGD?? Does the permit included in the said fee? Which charter boat you are using? Crystal Coral? Pls clarify as i'm interested with the trip.
The cost is in SGD. The cost of the permit is included. Only airfares and one-night hotel stay is not included. The cost is estimated based on 8 anglers. If more than 8 anglers are going, then the cost per pax will go down.
We are using Sea Maiden I, from Labuan.
Cheers
Alan
One more thing to add... the cost of chartering Crystal Coral is RM50K, or around SGD21K - see link below. Sea Maiden I is more affordable.

Thank you for your interest. All slots taken up.
Hello I'm from macau and interest for the trip.
anyone can tell me what kind and how big is the fish in the spratly?
hi naza... I don't think alan logs in that often... but I'm one of the anglers on this trip. too bad I'm a first timer to spratlys and can't really tell you for sure how productive the place is. I was in Macau not too long ago and saw an angler fishing for seabass at the ferrry terminal. He caught a foot and a half specimen and was glad to share his experience with me. if I ever visit Macau again I'll surely bring some fishing gear![]()
there's a wide variety of fishes in spratlys like groupers, jobfish, escolar, 6-gills sharks, dogtooth tuna, yellowfin. as for how big, let's just say when it comes to night fishing, we mostly use minimum 2kg fish or fish meat as bait and at night, we use reel spooled entirely with wire lines.
Wow Mikey!
You doing hardcore bottom now?
I don't mind doing Kylie's or Nicole's (Pussycat Doll lead) bottom but serious bait fishing bottom not yet lar... hahaha... a little bit of everything is fine... cannot too muchBut honestly after Burma Banks bottom fishing has definitely began to appeal to me more

You should bring it to macau.............here we can catch seabass in the whole year.......and with me i'm sure 2-4 seabass in one night.

I'm pround for you guys, esealy you can join a jigging or popping trip.....
If someone who has been to my country they will know that the water color is yellow...........
I like Jigging and popping but i dont dont have any choice excep going to souht china oil rig or some big floater.
I would like to join a trip that i can try the power of Dogtooth tuna.
In my like is only 25kg GT, 10KG AJ, 7kg YLF...............seabass uncountable.........
Anyone can tell me when will realize a Spratly, Sulaweisi or Makassar fishing trip and how much it is.
I saw in YOUTUBE a team caller EXTREME ANGLER and they catching a lot of doogy. Its there called spratly?
I wouldn't be too crazy about "doogys"! hahahaha!! Results at Spratlys varies greatly so don't get too excited about one happening video clip on Youtube. For all you know, for every good trip reported there's a dozen others that sucked big time![]()
what kind of fish you cought in the last spratly trip?
i'm curious to know......![]()
There is some of my phone
wow.......over 30kg doggy?
How to join this kind of trip.................................i have my 08 STELLA 10000 and HIRAMASA 56HS ready.....and dont know that can handle..........
AMAZIN........
Hi Naza,
Your combo of 56HS and sw10k is good enough for most fish in Spratlys. I am with Sticky on this trip. My main jigging gear is a hiramasa combijerk 64, lighter than your 56HS, and a 08 SW8000HG with 10000XG spool. I have personally witnessed a close to 60kg doggy landed on 300m of pe3.
How
Hi TUNA........yellow or black (joking)
I got also a Combi Jerk64 with Saltiga 4500Z bought it last year and use one time in oil rig and another on the floater.
Unluckly..........didnt hit a big one. The bigger one i landed is 3kg AJ.
How is your COMBI now! Still having a nice wrapping or becaming loose and have to wrap it again?
Mine still as brand new but i'm afraid after fighting with a fish over 15KG the guide will loose and have to wrap it.
i had booked a trip next year april on crystal coral so anyone interested can pm me. cannot book any trip to spratlys this year as all are fully booked.
See u guys there, I will be there 1 day ahead of u. But not in the same boat.

Remember-catch and release-unless you’re hungry!
Just got back from Spratlys yesterday and am rushing off to Aloha Changi nowIn short, I feel the trip was a blast and we had close to 30pcs of Trevally up to 20+ (Giants & Blue fins) on top water plugging gear alone and almost 20pcs of Dogtooths up to 30+ on jigs/bait. Will post photos and more details when I get back from Aloha Changi in a few days time.
