    Hi guys,

The jig is a Skill-L 380g produced by Mg Craft. It's top weighted jig with a lot of in built action. The doggie was hooked in approximately 90m of water, it did take quite a bit of line initially but chose to fight in a more vertical direction thereafter.

    tight lines

    We want more ChrisT!!!

The big Hoos and jigdemon (aka ERIC) in action...and of course maverick's shack face

We gotta put up mav's "shiver me timbers" leg trembles video on you tube asap!!!

    Thunnus dude,

I'm more accustomed to short strokes and I think the Skill-L works well with short strokes. Same reason why hookers are not my favorite jigs

Not too sure about that Mark ...... but it surely is less physically taxing .... most of the time

That's why I stick to trolling, live baiting and bait soaking with a dash of popping & jigging very, very occasionally.

Once again, a fantastic achievement dude!!!!

Thank you everyone for the congratulatory messages on this thread and via SMS. Much appreciated, once in a lifetime fish for me, very lucky indeed

Just wished my mates could have landed more fish in the 30kg to 40kg range, that would have made the trip an out of this world experience for all of us, but big fish don't come in numbers so keep on jigging guys

    Cheers and tight lines
