Malaysia 1 day Sedili trip 060924

My recent saltwater trip at Sedili, as usual single day trip. Depart on 8am and due to rocky sea condition, go back early and reach jetty about 5pm.

Fishing condition was quite good in the morning but many snag happened. 1st bigger fish was the tongkol. After that tekong caught the red snapper as well. I manage get 1 red snapper which is my record so far. At first we plan to use live prawn as bait, but when reach the prawn seller at Kota Tinggi there, the prawn seller moved... so we can only jig live bait fish for bait for the whole trip. We use live, dead, slice bait fish for bait.

We changed for at least 3 spot. After 2.30pm, tide change, wind start blowing strong. Fish less bite and we decided to go back early.
