Verdict: The New Bass One is made in Indonesia but I would say its very well built. The only flaw with my rod is the finishing of the reelseat. I feel that the paint/coating on the reelseat is too thick and rather unsightly. Other than the reelseat, I would say the new Bass One is a top notch rod at entry level price!
