Any reviews on the Carpenter One Hundred 56MH-S jigging rod?

But he mentioned that it was abit stiff for him, hence I am asking for a review.... no bloody chance to test it yet.

Heard that orders would take about 3 months to come. So when I saw Andrew's posting he received a PM within minutes!!! Just lucky I guess.

Actually its quite an coincidence as I received an email which you send it to 8 people within 8 minutes something good will happen. Normally I would just delete it but it had an interesting content about the catholic faith, so I just reposted to some people who I know are catholics.

As MarkR said, I do love my 56. I've used it in Perth, Bali and Rodrigues and loved it. It is a very light rod and can be used all day. I do however find it a little soft. But all in all, love it!

Should be around 15kgs or more. This shot was taken fishing in Perth. Pretty crazy drag settings there!

Should check with the previous owner. If it's an original carp, then you should have life time warranty coming along with it.

Huh???? Carpenter rods does provide lifetime warranty?? Heard from a friend who also owns a OH56MH-S saying that at most is only 1 year limited warranty. Can anyone clarify on this issue coz I would also like to order 1 new piece........

I have a 56MH-S. On fish less than 10kg, the rod hardly bends and the only thing that bends is my back. On fish above 10-15kg, the rod will come alive and show its lifting power. In all, a light and powerful rod and has no problem dealing with 500g jigs.
