Another rod for Taiwanese style of jigging

HOTS jigging rods, often highly associated with Taiwanese preference for parobolic action and lower locking point on the blank, is lauching another 2 rods through the Wei World series.
This pair seems to be an add on to the earlier Stiletto 2nd Generation Fake Lez series. The Fake Lez series comprises of 4 models, namely:

    54M (PE 2.5~4, max jig 200g),
    63M (PE 3~6, max jig 230g),
    63H (PE 4~8, max jig 280g) and
    50H (PE 5~8, max jig 300g).

And the new Wei World pair is now:
    52XH - Length 5'2" , Jig max 420g, PE 8 , one piece
    and
    48XXH - Length 4'8" , Jig max Over 500g, PE 8, one piece

These are all spinning models as I know it, with its launch, it should add on to the fire power which were once lacking in the HOTS brand name.

From the catalogue article, the 48XXH landed a GT weighing a whoopy 60kg on jigs during its field test in Taiwan, but not before the clock timed 30minutes.

Expecting the new pair to reach market here locally by September 06, just can't wait to lay my hands on them..... with a biggie at the end of it that is.

    Narc,

Looks interesting. Reminds me of the SevenSeas Oriental series which I suspect was developed due to Taiwanese influence too. Any details/insider info on blank construction? Are they still using Ti-Sic guides? Pictures?

    Thanks,

    MarkR

    Hey Narc,

Kei Hiramatsu has some jigging style called the "Fake Jerk", think it's something like short strokes interspersed with long strokes, he's got his own line of jigs for this stroke apparently. You think you could shed some light on this jigging style?

    Cheers

I dunno much about the rods Narc, but any rod series with a name that has "Stiletto" and "Fake Lez" in it, gets my vote.......
