    Guys, can you please recommend a good saltwater spinning reel (< us$100)that can take 300yds of 20lbs powerpro and 25+ lbs of drag.

    what sort of fishing do plan on doing? a good over all may be a Shimano
    Spheros 6000. durable and worth the money. can use for whipping and
    medium jigging.

    Thanks for the reply Mr. Caster. I've heared good reviews in regards with the Shimano Spheros and you can actualy appreciate the cost(<US$100) considering the nice features and specs. I can say this spinning reel is best for its cost.

    just add another bearing on the handle where the bushing is and your off to a good start. load it with 30lb powerpro
