Yo Physlo ........ the DF & the 6000GT has the same gear ratio -- 6.2:1. The DF takes in more line per crank by virtue of its larger spool and I think because of the larger spool, it weighs slightly more than the GT.
Yo Jason ...... imho, other than that technical difference, I think the rest is merely cosmetic. Go ask the boys at AO. I am pretty sure they must have cracked open a few for servicing by now. If there are indeed differences other than colour, they would know.
Roger , Mak.....
See Physio, kena suan again...hahahahaha!!!!
KK ,
I heard DogFight has the CCRBs in them while 6000Gt hasn't , other than that DogFight is 6000GT with optional grip , bigger 6500 spool n painted black , sound like a song by The Rolling Stones !
Jon .
Yo R.
So fast u letting go???hahahaha!!!!!!
KK and Physio
I am a poor guy who can only choose one out of the two......
I always thought that Dogfight is a improved version of the Saltiga series...

Yo Jason!
The holes on the leg of é DF are plugged whereas those on é other Saltigas are 'bore-through'. Hopefully, this is é improvement after feedback from several cases of several 'bai-kah' Saltigas with legs broken during hard fights.
Another amazing improvement is that é DF could actually increase in retrieve speed & line cap as it's left in é sun....
how??
So darn black! aborb more heat in é sun of course whole reel expand lah! hahahaha!
hmmm... bore through and plugged sounds pretty much the same to me actually. Only diff is the "plugged" version has something shoved into the "bore-through" hole. Actually reel foot breakages, to my best knowledge, only happens occasionally to the smaller 4000/4500 reels. Our local guys have fished the larger GT versions pretty extensively and non have given way. The Japanese have used the DF to land big Bluefin tuna so I don't think those holes, regardless whether its a through hole or a plugged up one, is going to make much difference.
