    Re: Banax reel

Not too sure in singapore but this reel is one of the hot selling reels in malaysia, i don't owned one but understand from my friend who got the GT5000 he told me the performance is comparable to opus bull but weight wise is slightly lighter than opus bull.

    Re: Banax reel

If you like the rugged feel and performance of the old Penn SS, you will like this reel. Quite an affordable Korean reel which may have just made it "unpopular" in Singapore hahaha.
The Banax brand was formerly known as Bando.

yes i have a benax gt 4000 good 4 fishing toman n have a normal 4000. the gt is good but the tension sound not 2 my liking. the normal sound loud. the gt is dearer of course recovering line is fast n smooth must be the extra bearing. toman fishing is game fishining. braid line important factor.

    Re: Banax reel

By now you can guess that I am quite a fan of this Korean brand

Just got their Banax Avalon leftie fromm 2000 Tackle for less than two blue singdollar notes. Used it or rather abused, it as my irritated buddy who happens to help me service my reels put it, at pekan on sail fish. It stood the abuse and it is still as good as new

Should be no problem for local toman hunting hahaha
