seasickness remedy

Hi,
I actually started deepsea fishing a year ago. As I recalled back my first fishing trip, all day long I was nursing my sea sick. I did`nt want to go out or even touching my new rod and reel. Instead I condemn myself! What I get my self into now!! Then one of the senior anglers knock some sense in me..saying spending thousands of dollars of high reel and rod but doesn`t want to use it.
Then saying my rod and reel is still virgin and this and that.. It getting to my nerve..maybe after few times vomit and fed-up with the feeling, i took my tackle and started to jig..after a few times cranking..to my surprise i hooked on..although the fight only a few mintues and i landed 2 kilo snapper..it made me cured from all sea sickness symptoms.
Amazing how a fish could make a differences.
