    Jigging in Bali

    Hello,
    I am newbie in jigging. Please advise me accordingly ,(e.g reel-OH, rod ,line etc.etc..) my budget is about 1.3K

    Hi mate,

    You'll need heavy jigs...min 350g...most often 500g...and if u are gung ho enough even 600g-1000g jigs for Bali...

    An overhead with a power gear 4:1 will be good wit short jig rods 5' ...4'8" even better for speed...

    For 1.3k I would recommend a jigger 4000P and customized Synit Venom 550...should fit into your budget well!

    I just back from Bali, heavy jigs are easy to find at local shops or contact PAC (paradise angler community). Kusamba is nice spot, 27.4 kg of dogtooth landed last week.
