My name is, my name is Slim Slim shady...
Not really ) I'm Johan De Vlieger, 42 years old living in, for the moment very wet and cold, Belgium.
As I adoooooooore game fishing (read popping and jigging) on the big fellows I'm forced to travel around the world to track them down.
Over here we have the Northsea wich is a very nice place to catch cod, all kinds of flatfish and seabass.
Great species but : they are not to be compared with Gt's, Doggies or other spanish mackerels.
Last year I've fished in Djibouti and caught some very nice Gt, that's the reason I'm going back in juin this year.
I'm fishing mainly with Fisherman's rods equiped with Shimano Stella's.
I have always used Zenaq as braided line and Fisherman Stealth as leader.
The poppers I use are mainly from the French tall guy Eric Leguyader but if I say "leurres Orion" you'll probably know what I'm talking about (I simply adore the T-Rex !!!).
I will keep everybody informed about the outcome of my future trip.
Djibouti is realy top of the bill despite that my dreamdestination stay New Caledonie.
Maybe next year ???
