Prince of Wales/Repulse Wreck Fishing 9th to 12th June 08

Live on Board/Heavy bottom fishing kakis,

Trip date; 9th to 12th June 2008.( Mon. to Thur.) Dates given by boat Captain..
Prince of Wales and Repulse wrecks lies off Kuantan. It's a WW2 wreck and relatively unfished.

Travel time from Endau will be about 10hours+- to the wrecks.

LOB 70ft dive boat with twin diesel inboards.
Huge boat which can accomodate up to 20 pax. Speed - 11 knots crusing.
5 Fully air con bunks...2 hot showers, dinning area with TV..etc.

Fishing is done from the dive platform or the sides of the boat.

Heavy bottom fishing, jigging and live baiting. Strong current dates.. Sinker Size from 20 to 35. Depth 50m to 60m. Species...MJ, Snappers, Groupers, GT n Diamond travellies etc.

Package Costings;

Need min. 10 pax to go. Price S$590.00/pax base on 10 pax. and S$490.00/pax base on 12 pax.
Full board, food, drinks/drinking water etc.
Beer n Ciggarettes NOT included.

Max. 12 pax.

Fishing days - 2 1/2 day n 2 nights fishing.

Itenrary;

For 12 pax..we'll have 2 Vans(12 seater)..6 pax. per van...plenty space for everything..plus 1 or 2 guides following.

Leave Monday evening from Sin and head to Endau to board Boat. On the way..pick up provisions, tib-bits..etc.

Board boat and tide permits, head out to sea. Your home for the duration of the trip.

Fishing day and nite from Tuesday till Thursday morning or mid day. Head back to jetty where our vans will be waiting for us to go back to Sin. Makan on the way back. Reach Sin around midnite.

Please take note; Must meet Min. 10 pax for the trip else trip will be cancelled and deposit fully refunded.

I have scuba dived on the POW and Repulse with Ah Lit and his boat over the past 5 years. He is a good captain and the boat is huge. we rent it for diving about twice a year. both wrecks have loads of fish but can have fast currents.

Hi Brooks,

Thank you very much indeed for the info and well wishes given, much appreciated. Great stuff and very enlightening for us to know that there are loads of fishes down there. Must be an awesome sight when you guys are down there checking out the wrecks and the life around it.
I do not scuba dive and guess I am missing out loads of awesome scenes down there.

Yes agree..boat is dame huge n great for Live on Board trips. No lack of comfort there i guess. We were told of the fast currents and we are prepared for it.
