Catch Report- K. Rompin 25th to 27th April 2008

Group of 5 angler, teck Ann, Eng Chong, Ong, Sugawara San and Chee Leong.Great bunch of guys..easy going kind...
Agenda; Sails on day one n bottom fishing on day 2.

Day 1
Only managed one sail, lost 2 and lost another on Halco popper. Took the popper...no hook up..happens all the time..and most of the time..
Only sail...live baiting...


Macks...lost 3 takes also....managed one only...
Ong's Only mack...live baiting...


small dorados around...got one for dinner...

Day 2
1st stop...bait jigging..tambans, small kembong..n some good size hard tail scad "chin char ru"

Slow action for the day...not much happening, small parrot, diamond T, groupers.. till the last spot we came upon a school of grunters..
Catches...


Manage to catch 4 grunters on jig..rest on bait...

Sugawara San..biggest grunter....rest were between 1 lb to 2lbs

Food..as always..good food for the guys..
Jemudok...good eating..Dorado good too...

Overall...not as good results as the previous trip...well that's fishing and the guys are not complaining..
