Woah! What a great catch report DFM. U should compile your catch reports along with pictures into a book simply entitled "Memoir of DFM, the Angler". It will be the next best-seller. Keep on fishing and the reports coming dude.

Cheers!

Yup, few friends owned it try out the action don't really like it but value 4 money. I'm pretty sure those who owned Jap rods/reel wouldn't look back at low profile rod/reel other than STICKBOM....haha

Fred tackle store here bringing in a range of carpenter rods thinking of grabing one BC series match electric reel.

Hey Cheng, I have a few thousand yards of 20lb nylon line... dunno where to use Next visit to Brunei I will try jigging with nylon again. First time I used it at Bali and hooked up to a fish. Too bad my FC leader was too thin and the fish chewed right through on it's second run This time round I will use 100lb leader and hope my retro outfit lands a decent fish.

Hey Cheng
Carpenter rods are too high end, can't afford lah! Have to stick to value for money ones.

Stickbom
Won't jigging with nylon give you that bungee feeling? Your fish will look funny after that adrenalin rush. haha!

Cheerio dudes!

hahaha... dun laff until you fall off the chair hor... wait injure yourself I have hard time explaining to Pauline The leader is just there to prevent bite offs/ tail wraps thats all lar. Anyway my Momoi Diamond 20lb breaks at close to 40lb so it's more than enough to handle fish up to 30kgs.
