My Mood: Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Saimee, Heard from Fatt gang you jig a few big Amberjack as well and recommand them pink colour jigs ...hehe Btw, the other two boat is it Ah Nan boat (heard about the name), we thought was fatt boat so approaching them (drifting), who knows one of the Sibu guy drop the jig and landed a 13kg Amberjack, after that they chase us away so we reverse the boat heading to your side. A while later incident occur, one of the boat chase after us and warn us do not come again, the problem is.....few of the kakis was from Sibu Sarawak (young guys) and their job was collecting bad debts, b4 that i don't even knowing them only when they taking bath i was shock why these guys whole body tatoo..... They was unhappy with this say it's open sea everybody can fish there ask the capt turn back there 1 2 cause trouble luckily one of their friend stoped them if not i also cannot imagine what will happen. God bless nothing happen...^_^ |

| Moderator | Cheng, Yes, I heard that there may have been more than one unpleasant incident involving the boat and individual you referred to. We did run into them as we made our way up to where Ah Fatt was the night before and we dropped by to say hello as usual, there were no problems for us, but as you know, nobody from Jerudong would seriously challenge Ishak, Kahar and my crew You are correct, the sea is anybody's domain and when you anchor up at a spot, you run the risk of having your spot marked by another vessel and crew, but thats just fishing. It is sad that the incident happened, doubly so with visitors on Apollo. I'm sure you know that these incidents are very few and far between. Edy, Cheng is Brunei based and one of the hardcore jigging lads here, I am sure he can give you much better information on Capt Freds jigging trips to the dropoff. Dayday, My catch was good, I can't complain after a pretty slow start to this years fishing. Sorry the Catch Report is not up yet, but I was tied up at work and had to do emergency reel servicing last night. Hopefully will post the Catch Report this morning sometime. Stay Tuned to this channel. Saimee

If you want hit n run fast fishing (2 hours travelling journey) Saimee can arrange 4u but in term of comfort and safety of course Apollo (approx 8 hrs). July not sure can go or not cos' beginning of july "maybe" we are going to Louisa . |

My Mood: Rep Power: 3 ![]() | MarkR, So after the Amberjack here then, normally we charters 36hrs trip to dropoff only B$180 each. If i read your posting this morning will tell Crystal Coral wong haha...(he's with me this morning ). htchng, Paiseh, all Amberjack landed by new kakis "old bird" all karate. Should i blame the biomaster 8000pg or kookai hoh, whole trip catch nothing and always sangkut bottom lost few jigs. Physlo, Kamaja too heavy 4 jigging but action damn good, when me n my buddy sangkut (suspect long line at the bottom) i set 20kg drag to pump at 45 degree till my backbone paintful, sit down on the floor to continue also no problem (that's the time Saimee approach us) |
