| Moderator | Vita Tenggara Farm (Desaru) Is a long long time for me that never touch fresh water fishing. Since when... too long that can't remember... Got a chance that MFN member asking me to join a survey trip to Desaru area, a farm called "Vita Tenggara". The farm manager wishes to promote the place for fishing kaki so that the place will be fully utilized. The extra money gain will buy more fish to restock into those ponds. That place actually consists of about 40 ponds and each pond was stocked in different species. We were having fun on the haruan pond where they active biting any lures. I caught my 1st haruan with lure here (paiseh). We keep changing pond to try casting but other pond was not productive might due to extreme hot weather. Wind blowing strong also makes me difficult to cast out lures. The biggest pond stocked in many species like pacu, patin, kelah, sebarau, tapah, lampam etc… The area will open to member soon. Member fee RM30 yearly and each entrance will be RM30 per day. Here are some pictures... will post more news after this.
