T.Perak on 6-8/1/2006

Our 3d2n T.Perak trip ends up with 2d2n trip. We reach T.Perak on 5.20pm at the 1st day start popping but catch nothing.

At first night, we go bottom, jigging but catches was so disappointed. Only small big eye travelly, small grouper, small baracuda caught. Before mid night wave very strong and most of us go sleeping.

Next early morning, 1 kaki popping and get the only 1 GT weight 13.5kg. Parking boat near to island and we do some light fishing. Popping & jigging also no bite.

After 2pm we head back to Russia wreck for bottom. Hoping for big grouper, snapper...

On the way back, wind & wave so strong until the boat can go for 5knot per hour. Most of us having sea sick and when reach the Russia wreck, no one willing to try as the wave still very strong. So boatman advised us to go back. And we reach jetty about 2am.

Hi Octopus,

Dont be disheartened as there will be always a next trip and take it as an experienced after you have been to T Perak while many only drooling over it.

I could make full use of the Nemo jig which i am visiting lucornia this coming March
