| Administrator | Sabah Catch Report 15 to 19 Sept After much travelling for the past few months due to work, finally I have some time to go fishing and the destination is Sabah - Kota Kinabalu. I have heard and read all the good things about Sabah fishing and can't wait to taste it myself. Equipped myself with my usual tackles (genesis and tiburon) and there we go heading to Senai Airport for Kota Kinabalu. We met our boatman (Sotong's brother David) and set of to our first fishing spot (8 hours far away). The weather managed to win 3 pukes from me. We were hit by 3.5M to 5M waves and decided to head to a nearby (4 hours) town - Kudat. Since we are unable to fish, we ended up went to Mount Kinabalu and enjoy the scenery PS. i will post some pics on the mount Kinabalu Sorry no fishing pics on this Catch Report. Basically bad weather. Thanks, Edy |

It was pretty scary, 2 houses wipe out by the huge waves and there is a 19 years old young man gone missing. It is all published in the last few days of Borneo Post. We have 5 guys went fishing after we took shelter on the town (Kudat) and was told that at night 4 am they could see huge waves under the moonlight .... pretty scary but of course they were rewarded with nice coral trouts and kerisi bali. Where as i went to mount kinabalu to relax Thanks, -e | |
