Rompin April 9 and 10 2005

This trip has been planned since last year I spoke with Tan. Finally 3 of us from Singapore (Edy, Milton and Vincent) and Tan and his wife from Malaysia.

We set off at 3.30pm from Singapore and met up with Tan and his wife in JB. We transferred all our gears into Tan’s car and there we go to Rompin. The journey from Johor to Rompin is about 3hours.

Finally around 7.30pm we reached Rompin and the first thing came to our mind was food. During dinner we met up with the boatman Sky Chong to discuss about the plan of this trip.

Our plan for this trip is bottom fishing – Parrot. Even though this trip we only landed 1 parrot fish and some other small reef fish, we had our fun.

I would like to thank Tan for organizing this trip and driving us back and forth from JB to Rompin and everyone else who participate especially Vincent whom “donated” his one and only parrot for our dinner. and of course Milton as our cameraman.

Thanks!
Edy

Sailfish hooked up = 2
1 parrot landed
1 sweet lips
Misc reef fish.

I really enjoyed my trip with Edy, Vincent & Milton. I known & learned some experience from Vincent, Edy & Milton about their fishing experience. Thanks Vincent that fulfilled our mission for Parrot fish.
