Fishing Hours: 0730hr – 1530hr
Feeding Frenzy start: 0830hr – 1230hr
Boatman: Guo Qiang
Fishing Method: PE 1-2 light jigging with jigs 25gm – 40gm and bottom baiting of live prawn and fish fillet with 20ft long FC 20-40lb leader
Weather condition: Light and variable winds with smooth seas. Small short period wind waves
Variety of Fish catch: Ebek (long Fin), Chemudok, Tenggiri, Leng Chiam, Sagai, Selah Papan and 1 sailfish (released)

Very good catches! what is the biggest ? Ebek must be, how many kilo? I'm planning for this saturday

Thanks, the biggest ebek landed was 5-6kg and they feed on live prawn. Are you going Pekan and which boatman will you be chartering?
The window period might be shorter, so if you can, make it mid of this week.

With Ah Chan pekan, man who bring pak wong & ah boy on kingfisher vcd not long ago. Cant make it mid-week, as me and my kaki's caught with tons of office thingy to do. Did you catch parrotfish? I cant see it in the picture

No Parrot for the window opening season, we practically only shifted 2 spots among the bait fish school. I am fishing with the guru name Guo Qiang, who is a very temperamental. He will tell you off to sit and shift here and there a bit to balance the boat. Ha Ha.

Haha.. then its the same boatmen with me. Yes, he is quiet manner, but seriously he is the Ebek man. I'm going with him next week 27. Hoping for successive trip like yours. What is the jig that catch most fish ?

I agreed with you that he is the ebek man, we had a good experience 2 years back with 20 pieces of ebek ranging 4kg - 8kg with 3hr, he just know where the fish is. I am using the cheap jigs from previous brand Technics, now known as Anglers Pal. 25gm - 40gm metallic green or blue works wonder. Will try to post the photo later. We are jigging fast long stroke up from bottom to mid water. All the best to your upcoming trip.

that jig very hard to find nowadays i think . You have any idea where to get it ?

The last time I got it was about 2 years back, now I also can't find them around in SG. But you can try the later design from the brand Angler Pal. I did some hook up using the 25gm metallic green as well. Apologize for the blur image taken from my phone.

Thanks. This design was similar to BlueFox Herring. Which catch most fish in karang luas, most species. Very cheap also

Check out Riverland in CV if my eyes never failed me they do stock the small jigs you are looking for ..............
