Rep Power: 4   | Catch Report on Batu Pahat 04-Dec 05 First time fishing at West Johor area (Batu Pahat). Was a very hot day and feel my skin like burning... Boat left the jetty around 1030. First spot was at the light house. Try jigging, bottom all nothing. Then we moved to deeper spot depth from 170-220 feet for snappers. But current too strong as sinker #16 can't touch bottom. Flying kites all the way... A kaki caught an eel only. Third spot we move to shallow water which near to jetty area. The same guy caught 2 cat fish. Since no fish willing to bite, we end the trip earlier on 1645. That all for the whole trip. At least I know some tips on Batu Pahat area now. Next time I will be prepared more. Last 2 weeks, friend caught 3 senangin(Threadfins), 2 snapper over there... |
