Looking for anglers to fish here, fishing season starts from now till March. 1.15mins away from Padang airport, 1.5hrs - 3hrs to remote islands and productive reefs in search of GTS, DOGTOOTH, MARLIN,SAILFISH,YellowFin Tunas. Will upload more pics soon.

Hi Nico,

Nothing concrete yet, so far I have numerous enquiries, but no takers yet! I'm using an 80footer yacht, vry comfortable for up to 12pax. Rooms and interior are fully airconditioned. As for those keen on popping, all ropes can be dismantled so as not to interfere casting. On top of that, I provide all soft drinks & alcohol. Food will be prepared by a chef. You can have american, continental breakfast. 5* service. Fish in luxury. If you're keen, do drop me your email? Thanks

Hi Pak Chris,

China's weather was very unkind to me... I was at the western end of China.. at Weihai, Shandong... its bloody now.. and my hotel is next to the sea.. beautiful scenary.. and each day and nite, I get to witness, nature's raw power displayed through powerful waves and equally devastating cold winds. The hotel builds a little fishing jetty out to sea, no doubt a picturesque area, but not in winter! Waves crashing on to this jetty sends jets of water up to 4 metres high! Imagine the force!

Still, as taught by you, when the big waves are, there the biggies will be... locals there, didnt fish much when I was there.. didnt see the fishermen.. probably because of the high and dangerous oceans..

Yes, we will meet up very soon.. as we would like to go through the preparations for the tackles and equipment.

So how's the salted fish?

Sorry to hear about the weather, as for the salted fish, FIRST CLASS! My mom says to bring back more if available.
