And Twelve makes Thirty ........

A pretty slow night compared to a week ago; but still a decent haul, making our total count for angchos in two trips to 30 pieces. Current was pretty much raging whole night long with only one turn in current stream. Highlight of the night was the biggest kaci anyone of us on board has ever seen in local waters. It pulled the Boga to 10.5lbs. The single grouper of the night pulled the scales to 12.5lbs

The angchos turned real finicky after midnight. They would only take live squid, of which we only managed to catch 7-8 the entire night. These precious 7-8 live squids produced 5 of the larger snappers plus the Kaci.

An estimated 10kg ray was release, and oh, we caught two belt fish as well. So endeth this catch report. Time to catch some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's

Mak,

That is more than a decent catch for one night.... That Kaci is pretty humungous dude, I think the biggest I've seen so far over here is around the 7kg mark so that one you have is definitely a "Senior" fish.

Live squid rock....Carry on fishing...

Regards,

Saimee

KK,

With all the angchors, you could turn that sweetlips into salted fish

I was told this year we will experiences El Nino? Could if be the reason for the _unusual_ catch?

Cheers,
Edy
