Southern Islands 18/4 night

Was out with Frank7, Tony, Darryl & Alex on Ah Cheng's boat.

A lot of good size squid netted & good current but we were hit by a Squall around 3am...ultra strong winds, rain & lightning

Had to take cover at St John's for the rest of the night

hey mark,

i was out on Ah eng's boat with my friend edward on the 18th too. catch was bad as the storm effected much of the fishing ..... managed to net only one 2 kg snapper and a cobia... but its ok, still better sitting in the office....

Hi Jay,

We saw u guys passing us at the Tuas breakwater...which areas did u fish?

For us, after loading up on squid, we made the long journey back to the sisters/st john's area

hey mark,

we fished around pawai and some other smaller island, but definately not sisters or st.john island.

lucky to be able to net enough live sotong even with full moon.

felt sorry for Ah eng and his partner, i guess he is equally disappointed with the catch also.... but it's OK with us. win some and lose some....
