Slow day in the west

Okay... the first "bad sign" to start the day off was the size of live prawns from West Coast. The average size was the length of my last finger... and some even smaller. No one to blame for this because non of the guys on board who were staying in the east had a car to pick up live prawns from Changi Pro Tackle this morning *sigh* Somehow the weako teeny weeny live prawns made me hesitate to tie on an apollo rig (which was the norm).

2nd lousy sign... current and wind were going against each other. Boat was supposed to be drifting but we were literally "CRAWLING". How I know? Well my jig was hardly drifting away from the boat in-between drops I did try to bottom fish but no luck in that direction too.

By 4 pm we were all bored stiff and decided to call it a day. My friends managed a Star-Gazer, a "deep sea KBL", a parrot & a small ACK. Wished I had a super powerful binoculars on board today... could have been checking out the babes playing volleyball on Sentosa
