Little Catch Report of Sunday .

Its have been a long time since I have gone for a good daytime fishing .I manage to sqeeze time and put aside other stuffs to make sure today its gonna happen .So I and my friend met up and head down to the fishing ground .We reach the place at around late 10 a.m ,set up the tackles and begin fishing around 11 a.m .Cast out ,and while begin winding in the slack lines there are already small bites at the end of the line .Soon a fish took the bait before i can set the rod on the rod holder ,and a small bream was brought up .So rebait and cast out again ,took out my lunch and start filling my stomache .Half way while munching down my lunch ,my rod gave a bend and i had to rush to the rod with my mouth filled up like a hamster ..haha .Gave a strike and then start to bring the fish in ,this time round the fish is slightly bigger .And silly me wants to play with the little bugger and did not tighten the drag much ..and that result the fish getting snag at the reefs after it make a quick dive ..hahaha ..I deserve it .The poor fellow is still trying to break free from the hook ,I tried several methods and didn't seems to free the snag ,I guess one of the apollo hook got stuck ..Well ,since it is snag ,I might as well go back to my lunch .Put down the rod and release some lines ,then start munching away again under the shades .After lunch ,I tried again to free the snag ..but it didn't seems to budge .So have no choice but to pull hard ..and piak it goes ...

So this time I retied a single hook apollo ,cast it out and off I when luring .Just after awhile while luring ,the baited rod start to twitch again .Quickly retrieve the lure and went back to strike the baited rod ,but this time theres no hook up .Guess its a small fellow or crab .So retrieve the line ,rebait and cast out again .Just before I pick up the lure rod ,the baited rod gave a hard bend .Quickly as usual ,pick it up ,set the hook ,tighten the drag further and never play a fool liao .Soon up come a nice size spotted drepane .Further down the day ,luring was given up due to the much given attention paid on the baited rod and rushing up and down when ever theres a rattle .

In the late afternoon theres two more hook up by my friend ,but the fish manage to dash to the reef and got the rig snag ..By late afternoon around 4 p.m ,another friend ( Jing ) join us .And my friend that join me early in the morning got tire and left soon ,as he is more of a night angler which do not really tolerate the sun for so many hrs .As Jing has just arrive ,we continue fishing under some shades .And just before the skies starts to darken ,another spotted drepane was landed .Soon it gets dark ,took some pics and we pack up and leave ..it was indeed a good day spend by the sea .
