Catch Report Mar 17

Howdy, here's my humble catch report. 5 of us went fishing with Raju on Thur, Mar 17. Caught 2 groupers n a small snapper at the first spot. A small parrot (palm sized) at the next (was kept alive in the baitwell). Had nothing at the third spot before Raju moved to a "new" spot. Within minutes of lowering our prawn, a nice pull on my friend's new rod and the first of his 5 snappers were landed. He also had his leader (30lb Duel fluorocarbon) burst twice which prompted our "captain" to mention that this happened the day before as well. Wonder what was it that burst the 30lb leader. The rest of us only managed 4 more snappers n a parrot (est at 800gm, the snappers were between 1 to 1.5 kg). The action lasted for about an hour then it was back to waiting/dozing. Sadly, the waiting/dozing continued till time to go back. It was still a fun day at sea.
