Catch Report on Ah Bee's boat

[Ah_Hai]

This trip was on 2nd April 2005.

Arrived ard 7.30am and met up with 3 more kakis. The trip dun look very promising as the sky is turning black. However, as we are a group of optimistic anglers, we comfort ourself by telling each other that we will at least not get sun burnt.
Started fishing ard 8.00am and the first ack were caught within 5 mins of wetting the lines by an angler. The acks were biting fast and furious (approx 1 bite every 10min) One angler actually caught a cobia weighing ard 2.3kg. However, due to strong wind (and rain), our boat drifted away from the spot and a bumboat actually planted itself in that spot. Too bad

Next we shifted to another spot, this is not as productive as the previous one but my lucky friend actually caught a 4kg grouper with 6lbs line!! A cobia ard 3kg were caught and a small chermin as well as several kee fish and small ack.

Overall, we felt it is a good day!!
