Didn't buy live prawns this time round as really have to cut on budget on fishing expenditure ,so pratically only got some dead shrimps and head down fishing .Upon reaching there are a few people fishing there already ,lucky theres not much people around today ,so manage to get a "parking lot" for fishing .While chatting with another angler the reel beside me ( not my reel lah ) suddenly make a loud screech and lines starts peeling off like nobody business ,and hence the fight is on .Half way fighting the line burst due to teh rocky seabed that cut it off ..and the angler didnt set enough drag at that time .So we get back to fishing again after the commotion ended ,and we start chatting again .While we were talking ,I mention to him to set the drag properly after he have cast and park the rod .After sometime his reel start to screech again ! Hell ,what a take again ! But it didn't last long before all is silence again ..as he did not set drag again ..this is seriously waste again ,what a pity ..

Fishing resumes again and change my bait into freshly caught tamban ,cast it out sit and wait .While tying some spare rigs my rod had a very hard bend and quickly I pick up the rod and make a hard strike .For a moment it went heavy before the fish finally decide to run for its life ,and it did put up a few strong runs before it finally gave in .It was a MJ that is landed this time ,and much more bigger and stronger then the previous one landed .After that it went quiet for sometime ..until the tide was much lower where i can reach the intended casting spot for the final attempt before the tide is at its lowest .Cast into the spot and not long before a good edible size blue hind grouper took the bait .Then quickly rebait again and cast back into the same area ,and this time round it was much faster .It took about a few minutes beofre something took the bait again and this time it really pull hard ,and I got a gut feeling it is another snapper type of fish .I was pretty happy having the thought that theres fresh fishes for chinese new year before the fish is landed .And it was not long for the fish to be landed ,and it was a MJ again !But while it was in the water I can see something wrong on the body ,and when landed ..the MJ had contracted some kind of myxosporea disease .Yukes ,it really stink bad .Quickly took a photo and release the MJ back into the water .And at 4 pm plus ,I realize that all the ice in my ice box has melted away ..so LL have to packed up and go home .Well at least theres still 2 hours daylight time left for me to spray and fix up my gundams which is behind schedule ,teeheehee .
