Rep Power: 5 ![]() | 15th February - Jurong Port After precious moments with their love one for Valentine’s Day, [please note: only Edy & Adrian is involved in the precious moment thingy] the three Amigos are back in action again organized by Mike “the fishing guru”. This time round Jurong port vicinity became our hunting ground. We set off bright and early, charging towards our hunting ground at full speed. The 30 minutes ride was bumpy but we were rewarded by warm morning sun and cooling sea breeze. Before we know it, our boatman for the day Captain Ah Tan shouted out: “Fishermen prepare your gears, on time on target, carry on!” The peaceful cabin ambient was broken as everyone scrabbled for their fishing gear and the day’s fishing activity officially begins. Seconds after lowering down our lines, someone from the deck begin to chant, “Got bite. Got bite liao” drawing our attention towards him. But our hopes are smashed when the angler made this remark “Wah Lau! My bait tio shoot ki liao”. However, within minutes Adrian’s friend Dominique landed a Japanese delicacy – pufferfish, since we have no Japanese chef on board we decided to release our first catch back. Before we all know it, the sun begins to set and the day’s fishing had come to an end. Peeping into our icebox, we found a total of 7 “Finger Mark Snapper”, 2 “Parrot Fish”, 1 “GuHood”, 1 “Grouper”, and 1 “Cuttlefish”. Besides these fishes, today’s event proved to us that the following statement “10% of the fisherman catches 90% of the fishes” hold some truth in it, with our Adrian and Mike catching majority of the fishes. And I am re-election once again as the President of the “Kosong Club”. Conclusion The hot sun had sent most of the fisherman onboard into hibernation mode, spending most of the time trying to avoid the sun, sparing no extra effort to make stupid action or remarks worth mentioning. Best Fisherman Award – Adrian “4 fishes and 1 cuttlefish” Most Valuable Fisherman Award – Mike “4 fishes includes a good size parrot fish” Kosong Fisherman Award – Chris |
