Rep Power: 5 ![]() | 14th March 2004 - Tuas Shipyard Road After a week’s break from our Mapur trip, the 3 Amigos is back in action again. Joining us was Mike “the guru” and his empress dowager Alice. After much contemplating, we finally came to an agreement for our fishing location - Tuas Shipyard Road. The journey there was lengthy, due to malfunction “GPS system” [Adrian is my personal GPS system]. When we finally get there, it was almost noontime. Adrian & Edy did some scouting around the area before we decided to unload all our stuff. The tracking from the car park to the fishing venue, added some mystery and adventurous element to this trip. This fishing expedition was hampered by occasional rain, which forced us to constantly seek shelter under the tree. Nevertheless, all our effort never go in vain as we managed to get a 500g chermin, before the heavy rain moved in. We quickly packed up and head for the nearest shelter – a newly renovated Kopitiam where we drown ourselves with beers and snacks. Once the rain stops, we dash to the vehicle and make our way home to hot showers and our comfy beds. |
